Immunologicaleffect of mouse against V. furnissii disease by vaccination killed organism and purified IgG were studied.
In the test of antibody production, the highest dilution titer of rabbit immunized with V. furnissii antigen showed 1:51200 at 51 days, and immunoglobulin G was purified by 40%(NH4)2SO2 precipitation, DEAE-Sephadex, G-200 column
choromatographies.
Purified immunoglobulin G of V. furnissii antiserum showed two bands of 50.000 and 25,000 on SDS-PAGE under the condition of reduction.
In the passive vaccination by purified IgG against viable cell of V. furnissii control group 6% mortality but vaccination group showed 1% mortality.
In the active vaccination by killed organism, against viable cell of V. furnissii control group 6% mortality but vaccination group showed 1% mortality.
In the active vaccination by killed organism control group, normal group and vaccination group have little change alkaline phosphatase of small intestine.
